SUCCESS

SUCCESS = Fun + Variety + Camaraderie

Team Fitness isn’t the only fitness group around, but it is one of the best at training its members across the principal areas that define overall Fitness: cardio vascular conditioning, strength, flexibility, coordination, agility, speed, and precision.  In addition to defining Fitness, there are two important questions to be addressed, “How is Fitness Success achieved?” and “How is Fitness Success maintained through the years?”  We believe the answer to these two questions is by incorporating three of the key pillars upon which Fitness Success rests.  FUN, VARIETY, AND CAMARADERIE

FUN –  Fitness, Playing, and Fun are deeply connected.   Kids get this instinctively, and so do we.  As children, we simply had fun by playing.  Fitness was never mentioned and we certainly didn’t plan for it, but it did come along as a side benefit.  If you reflect for a moment, things haven’t really changed.  Team Fitness coaches strive hard to create a fun environment.  We DO know how to work hard, but we also know when to not take the workout or ourselves too seriously, and how to do it with a few good laughs and a lot of fun.  Our goal is to take Fitness off your “To Do” list and put it on your “Can’t Wait To Do” list.

VARIETY – I bet you or someone you know has a piece of exercise equipment that now serves as a clothes rack because exercising with it just became too boring.  Boredom kills desire.  The known antidote to boredom is Variety.  Professional and world-class athletes know this, and so do we.  Since 1991, we have coached more than 25,000 unique workouts.  No two workouts have ever been the same, and no two ever will be.  We have compiled hundreds of drills, exercises, and workout elements from all our coaches’ competitive and coaching experiences to bring you an endless supply of fun and challenging workouts.  Something new every time you show up keeps all of us fresh and enthusiastic!

CAMARADERIE –  If fancy equipment and facilities don’t produce Fitness Success, what does?  The answer is Camaraderie.  If you have just one friend working out with you, we know that you’ll stay committed close to 70% longer than you would working out on your own.  Add a coach and a whole lot of terrific teammates, and we know the numbers take off from there.  In striking contrast to the 80% failure rates at athletic clubs across the country, the current average membership in Team Fitness is 8 years, with about a third of our members in double digits.  A buddy system is good, but camaraderie across a whole team is unmatched.  Many members sum up their Team Fitness experience by saying, “We came for the fitness, but we stay for the people.”
