“I was active when I joined Team Fitness in 1997, but the program raised my fitness to another level, improving my flexibility and strength.  A few years after I joined, with the help of one of the coaches, I began running. In 2005 I achieved a long-time goal of running the Bay to Breakers.  Since then I’ve run 10 marathons, something I never would have dreamed of before Team Fitness.  I can honestly say that I’m in the best shape of my life But even more valuable than the exercise is the many friends I’ve made in the program.  We cheer each other on during the workouts, and share laughs over coffee afterwards. I have been so blessed to be a part of Team Fitness for the past 7 years. I love working out as a team, it has been the one program that I have been able to be consistent with. The early morning workout time really works for me . It is a wonderful way to start the day. We have a lot of fun, the work outs are challenging and we are encouraged to try new things. I have never been a runner but since joining Team Fitness have been able to jog two 5Ks.     "No better way to start the day than getting a good workout with a terrific group of people who over the years have become great friends. If you're thinking it's awfully early in the morning, you're right, but then you feel great about getting on with the day.  

    The days I miss Team Fitness, I don't feel nearly the same.  Top notch, fun coaches now how to push you just a little harder to make the most of your workout.  Team Fitness (and admittedly the coffee with the friends after) is a big part of my life.  If I knew then what I know now, I would have signed up years earlier!"—Burt C.
